HALLE-FREAKING-LUJAH!!

My VISA came this afternoon!!!! Oh. My. God. I can breathe again. Thanks to my temporary roommate's (love you Lexie!) dependable availability and overall badassiness, she was at the apartment the minute my visa arrived and called to give me the good news. I must admit, when I saw she called and left a message I had a feeling she had news about my visa. However, I put off checking the voicemail because I was afraid that maybe South Africa rejected me or required further paperwork...but PHEW! I've been approved, stamped, and cleared for multiple entries into South Africa until June 30th, 2010! So maybe I'll go back for the World Cup after graduation after all?

So now it REALLY is offical: I'M GOING TO SOUTH AFRICA ON SATURDAY!

Wow. Just thinking about it blows my mind.

Let me know if anyone has requests for certain things for me to bring back. So far someone wants a World Cup t-shirt, and someone else wants something called a "crunchie"...can't wait to find out what that is!
